Honestly, Chef Steve and the crew at 8 East do what is currently our favorite dish in Las Vegas, the brisket fried rice “Vital Vegas-style” (chicken skewers added, hold the sticks).

    That brisket fried rice at 8 East is frickin’ amazing!! It is also one of my favorite dishes in Vegas! Hell, the whole place is pretty good.. their pork belly, OMG! And it wasn’t shocking strip prices! Love it!

    In my opinion, CIRCA is WAY over hyped. They spent billions of dollars designing and building this new casino and garage. And, besides the large Sports Betting screens, the rest of that casino is a yawn fest and over priced venues including restaurants. The pool is a losing design (in MY opinion) and they charge to enter. Food is dull and over priced, sandwiches on regular sized bread with small meat portions for $20.00. Derek Stevens is charging STRIP prices like he forgot that this is Downtown! Ellis Island has 2 for 1 pizza, slices and whole pies, OCEAN has $5.00 lunch items, a number of great pizza stands Downtown and elsewhere on the STRIP, etc. There is ZERO hook venues at CIRCA, Derek Stevens thinks because his casino is NEW that he can charge STRIP prices for generic food offerings that originated in Stevens hometown, Detroit, rather than signing up the BEST food venues. FAIL! If he doesn’t go into bankruptcy, he needs to dump out and re-start with new venders.
