Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Takes On Long Waits With Interactive Kiosks

As we first reported back in December, the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is addressing long wait times with new interactive kiosks allowing guests to check in, then roam freely until it’s their turn to dine.

We like knowing what our wait time will be, and these new displays deliver.

Upon arrival at the Bacchanal Buffet, guests have the option to enter their name and cell phone information.

This is where you enter your name. Suggestion: Get creative, with the goal of making the hostesses blush.

Unrelated to anything, Virtual Queue would make a pretty good band name.

Now, you’re free to roam the casino, and you’ll get a text when it’s time to eat. Upon your return, you get to bypass the line and zip right in.

It’s sort of a high-tech version of those buzzer thingys they sometimes give at restaurants. Just without the enjoyment of the vibration. If you know what we’re saying.

They should make the text messages epic. Odds: Unlikely.

Given that the Bacchanal Buffet is one of the best, and most popular, buffets in Las Vegas, this service is actually pretty convenient. It makes sense for the buffet in a couple of ways, because customers waiting an hour are less likely to love their buffet experience. Plus, and if people are roaming the casino, many will play, which often turns out well for a casino.

If you try the new kiosks at Bacchanal Buffet, let us know how it goes!
